Shen Min for Hair Loss
When the Biotech
Corporation decided to introduce the Shen Min product line to the hair loss
treatment market, their promotional strategy was to tap the mysterious
remedies of traditional Chinese medicine, taking it into contemporary times
for a more sophisticated, but open-minded, audience.
Chief among its ingredients is an element extracted from a plant
known as He Shou Wu, along with more conventional items like folate, biotin
and the vaunted saw palmetto. By
combining the herbal remedies of the East with the modern medicine of the
West, the Shen Min product system theoretically provides the best benefits
of both, with no foreseeable drawbacks and what the company claims to be an
incredible 90 percent success rate among its satisfied users.
At least, this was the projected best-case scenario.
The reality of the reviews, however, is that there are many
disappointed consumers out there who attempted to use Shen Min products to
alleviate their hair loss woes, and proclaimed the product to be a serious
waste of time and money.
The most glaring
warning sign of Shen Min’s dubious effectiveness came in the form of a
warning letter from the Food and Drug Administration, which derided Biotech
for its unmitigated claims of the potency of their products in treating hair
loss. Shen Min was cited for
explicitly stating that it was a safe and effective method of growing back
hair and staving off baldness, when the FDA currently does not allow any
drug to unequivocally make that claim.
Moreover, it was discovered that Biotech was likewise guilty of
misbranding the Shen Min product system.
This offense was identified when the FDA determined that the product
line did not contain adequate instructions for the indications on the
product labels, particularly as to how to apply the substances in a manner
that was tested to be harmless.
As if this was not
enough to blacklist Shen Min as a hair loss treatment alternative, reports
began surfacing from disgruntled consumers who suffered a number of ill
effects from the product usage.
One particular customer admitted that it did provide results with regard to
her hair, but that it also thinned her blood to the point that she almost
hemorrhaged to death, and it was only through timely action on the part of
paramedics and doctors that she was still alive.
Another consumer stated that using Shen Min caused abdominal pains,
which brought to the fore the realization that the product forewarns buyers
of possible liver complications.
When considering a trade-off between a damaged liver and healthy hair, it is
not a difficult decision to make.
Other complaints with regard to the usage of Shen Min raise concerns
about lymph node deterioration, urinary tract infection symptoms, and other
ailments.
Clearly, this is one
hair loss product from which you would do well to stay away.
Shen Min has been found not only to fail at its function of restoring
hair with many customers, but also to subject them to a number of
life-threatening side effects.
