Thymuskin for Hair Loss
If one reads the statistics on alopecia or hair loss,
one will notice how commonly it affects people.
Many of those people also suffer
emotionally and psychologically from the effects.
If millions then suffer from balding
and would like to rid themselves of the problem, it is no surprise that hair
loss products flood the market. There
are innumerable promises made all the time and the guarantees seem too good
to be true. If you really want to
know the truth behind a product, however, some research needs to be made.
Take the German-developed Thymuskin
Shampoo. Does it really perform
as well as its manufacturers claim?
The ThymuSkin product line has been around for over 15
years, which implies without concluding that the product has had some
success. It is not however, a skin
product like the name might suggest, but a hair growth remedy.
It was originally used on
chemotherapy patients, so that they might not lose as much hair.
It was then supposedly discovered,
that the product is effective on people with other kinds of hair loss
problems. If one should scour the
net, many testimonials seem to prove that the product is effective.
Again, with over 15 years of success,
it may be hard to argue. A closer
look however, might prove otherwise.
It is not a
matter of disputing the claims of people that said they got their hair back
after using ThymuSkin products, the problem lies in the circumstances
surrounding hair growth. For one, it
is marketed as a good remedy for hair loss like telogen effluvium, anagen
effluvium, and alopecia areata. This
alone should raise red flags for those in the know.
Most of the people that suffer from
hair loss like those mentioned above are reported to get their hair back
after several months without any medication.
This means that even without ThymuSkin, they would have shown signs
of hair growth anyway.
Another concern lies in the claim that ThymuSkin works
better with women. This is not
surprising since most of the hair loss women suffer at a young age has to do
with hormonal imbalance, and yes, they also eventually grow their hair back.
Finally, the key ingredient at work
is thymus gland extract. Other than
the warning signs mentioned above, it is not known if the product exploits
the use of animals to get its precious extract.
If one would really like to try the product and see if
it works, go ahead. If you don’t mind
spending more than 120 dollars per bottle, knock yourself out.
It just seems like a lot of money to
spend on such a suspicious product. Desperation
can drive people to spend thousands on products that do not work.
This is a fact, especially since the
FDA itself says that only 5 percent of hair growth products on the market
actually work. If you are suffering
from the types of hair loss mentioned above, one suggests waiting it out.
In most cases, you’ll have a full
head of hair again. If not, there are
more effective and proven products compared to this one.
